The Washington Heights Children's Health Festival

As part of our 75^th Anniversary Convention, Phi Iota Alpha Fraternity, Inc. along with the Union Foundation is sponsoring the Washington Heights Childrens Health Festival.

Brothers of Phi Iota Alpha will be volunteering all day to support children's health. Brothers can register online at www.phiota.org

This FREE festival held in Upper Manhattan is the largest Latino Family Health event in the country. Last yeat over 400,000 were in attendance with 15 major health providers present.

Washington Heights festival features face painting, clowns, pony rides, arts and crafts, popcorn, and games.

Since 1931, Phi Iota Alpha has set precedents for Latino greek leadership in the global community. Through the past 75 years, Phi Iota Alpha has cultivated and inspired Latino men nationwide to become leaders of their communities across Latin America and the United States. Open to all men, this distinguished brotherhood includes many professionals and former presidents of Latin American countries. Today Phi Iota Alpha, the Oldest Latino Fraternity in existence, continues to lead as the preeminent Latino fraternal organization with chapters throughout the United States.

Established in 2004, The Union Foundation is Phi Iota Alpha Fraternity's philanthropic arm. The Foundation is an initiative designed to impact the lives of Latino communities in the areas of education, economic development, and social progress. The Union Foundation is a private, charitable non-profit organization.

Friends of Lead Free Children is a  501 (c) (3) organization that has extensive experience in developing nutritional health care and lead prevention programs in designated targeted world markets. Also, Friends of Lead Free Children, in collaborating with government and NGO organizations has established successful health related projects. Friends of Lead Free Children has organized several humanitarian donations to developing countries.
