Jim is a sole practitioner licensed to practice before the state and federal bars of New York and Massachusetts. His areas of concentration include Matrimonial/Family Law, Commercial and Civil Litigation and Real Estate. His office is in Lower Manhattan.

He was born in 1969, in Miami, Florida, to Cuban parents. Raised in Elmhurst, Queens, he attended Xavier High School (Class of ’87), S.U.N.Y. Albany (B.A., Class of 1991, Maj: Political Science, Min: Classical Civilizations and Archaeology), and New York Law School (Juris Doctor, Class of 1995).

He resides in Sunnyside, Queens, with his wife, Melissa, their son Diego, born August 8, 2005, and their French bulldog, Tobias.
