Phiota becomes member of exclusive Art Club.New York - July 17, 2006 The Salmagundi Club, founded in 1871, is one of the oldest art organizations in America. The club is an important venue in New York City for art exhibitions. The club is located in it's landmark townhouse on Fifth Avenue in New York City. Brother Antonio Arocho is a graduate of the State University of New York College at Old Westbury, and a brother of the Theta Chapter of Phi Iota Alpha. ![]() Closeup of "Flowers at Twilight" Phi Iota Alpha ignited the latino greek movement, with it's etablishment in 1931. Through the past 75 years Phi Iota Alpha has cultivated and inspired Latino men nationwide to become leaders of their communities across Latin America and the United States. Our distinguished brotherhood, includes former presidents of Latin American countries. Today Phi Iota Alpha, the oldest latino fraternity in existence continues to lead as the preeminent latino fraternal organization with chapters from coast to coast.
