National Convention

We are excited to welcome you to the "Big Guava" of the south, Tampa, Florida!

Tampa is a city rich in Latin American cultural history and heritage. In the late 1800's, the area became the heart of the tobacco industry, with its easy port access located right off the Gulf of Mexico.  Tampa was also accessible by the U.S. railroad system, which allowed national distribution of all its products.  This boon led to the influx of Cuban and other Spanish immigrants to the Gulf coast and the history of this city reflects that heritage.

The banquet each year serves as the main event of the convention and this year it will be no different. This year for the first time, we are booking a yacht to host the banquet event with Tampa Bay/Clearwater Premier Cruises.  We welcome you to come aboard and enjoy one of Florida’s most beloved sunset dinner cruises in one of their spectacular dining rooms.

We will be staying at the Westin Tampa Waterside where you can experience the style, preferred amenities, and its unbeatable location. Recently undergoing an $18 million transformation, this newly renovated accommodation seamlessly blends modern luxury, intuitive guest service, and an inviting atmosphere.

We look forward to celebrating with you all this summer. So please secure your registration and I’ll see you in July!
